AVNation AVTweeps Tweetup 2014

Last year at this time, we were gearing up to cover InfoComm 2013. We had access to a private room and someone said, “let’s host the AVTweeps Tweetup”. Great idea with only two weeks left.
It took some serious work by some great, dedicated people. The AVTweeps Tweetup 2013 was a great success. A good time was had, the nice companies that sponsored it were complimentary, and networking was accomplished.
This year, we started a bit earlier. We are two weeks out and the food and drink has already been ordered, the sponsors are excited, and we are double checking our lists instead of making them. I have to admit, it is not any less nerve-racking than last year, but just as exciting. We have some great sponsors who have made this possible. Without them, this get together would not have  happened. At least not to this level. Vaddio and Draper lead off the pack with the Platinum sponsors. Middle Atlantic Products, AMX, and Advanced AV are our Gold sponsors. ASK Proxima, Audinate, AVI Systems, and Innovad round out our Silver sponsors. Sennhheiser and AV Helpdesk our the two Bronze sponsors.
Thanks to these great companies, we will have food, drink, prizes, and networking for two hours during InfoComm 2014. It will be in the AVNation Press Room; room N 217. Don’t get that confused with our booth number, which is also N 217. This room is at the top of the escalators on the right hand side. Just go to the top of the escalator and listen to everyone talking about Matt Scott’s hair. You can’t miss it.
The reason for the 4:30 – 6:30 time period is because we know you have a number of parties to attend the week of InfoComm. We hope you will use our little get together as a way to connect and network with others on your way to the next event. Come by on your way out of the convention center, grab a drink, and maybe register for a prize. At 5:30 we will stop for a moment, thank the sponsors, say a few words, and give away some prizes. So, come by, shake hands, trade business cards, and get some food and drink. It’s a great way to relax after a long day on the show floor. Remember, Wednesday June 18, from 4:30 – 6:30 in room N 217. If you can, please register here so we can get a sense of how many are coming.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. I’ll see some of you in two weeks. Have a great one until then.
