The holiday season is upon us yet again, that means a time for togetherness with your family and friends, both at home and in the professional world. It is this sense of community that we at AVNation are extremely excited to celebrate as well.
In a year that brought us the #AVSelfie, as well as the emergence of so many new voices, both on this site as well as others, we are excited to be just a small portion of your professional life. But all work and no play makes AVNation a tired organization.
With that in mind we are proud to announce, in cooperation with Advanced AV, our latest look at the people that make up the AV industry in all of their holiday finest. That’s right! This holiday season we bring to you #AVsweater. You know you have one, and now you can thank Aunt Beru for knitting you that great sweater of a reindeer chasing a mailman by throwing it on and wearing it proud.
Starting December 1st, Cyber Monday, we want to see you and that glorious holiday sweater on twitter using the hashtag #AVsweater.
2 Winners will be chosen by an esteemed panel comprised of AVnation and Advanced AV fashionistas. The prize is a $25 gift card for the top male and top female AVTweep with the ‘best’ holiday sweater.
Have fun, take individual pics, take group shots and show off your community in all its holiday glory.
∙ Contest is open to all AV professionals
∙ Start Date December 1, 2014 thru December 19th 5pm EST
∙ Winners announced December 22nd
∙ Prizes 2-$25 gift cards provided by Advanced AV

In true AVnation fashion we will compile the pics and create something special for the industry to enjoy. So have fun, enjoy your holiday celebrations and show everyone the fun side of the AV industry.
Please share this post online or as part of your company newsletters so that everyone can get in the fun.
Thanks again! We look forward to seeing AV people at play during the holiday season.
