Nice Sounds… Beautiful Look

20150211_104624 One of the categories that seems to be emerging is one of “artistic speakers”. There are companies who have taken wine bottles, blown glass, and artisan crafted wood to create sound structures. Soledge has developed plaster casings for a unique look and sound.
The speaker is called the Canto range. They are as much a decoration as they are functional. However, the sound coming out of these speakers are smooth, even, and covers a pretty wide area. Since it is not directional like a traditional speaker system it reduces the refraction issues you would have if your space has too many hard surfaces.
The covering of the cases can come in eight different colors. They range from “solid gold” to a dark noir. This speaker is available in the U.S. in addition to the Eurozone through different distributors.
