You Get A Vote at InfoComm 2015

One of the newest areas of the InfoComm 2015 Show is the Innovations Showcase. It is an area on the show floor for first-time exhibitors to introduce their products to about 38,000 AV professionals. It is also a great spot if what you are looking for is some of the most cutting edge technology to impact the AV space. This is a great deal for both new companies as well as the attendees. Plus, as a show goer you get to vote in a contest InfoComm is running to give away a free booth at InfoComm 2016.
The Space
Located around the Digital Signage area, the Innovation Showcase is about 70 x 40 ft. There is an Innovation Stage as well where each resident of the Showcase can present for about 30 minutes. Both of these areas are where you as the attendee can ask questions and the companies can present to you the unique solution to a problem the perceive.
The Process
To get in the space you need to apply by April 15. The final residents of the Innovation Showcase will be announced May 1. There are already a number of companies listed on the InfoComm Show floor plan. According to the map as of this writing it looks as if there are five slots left. So, if you are interested, get your application in. The cost is only $2,000 for the space and access to the stage. That amount isn’t much when you consider the access to the audience you are getting. Plus, if you are the best innovator you could come back next year bigger and better.
The Vote
That’s where you come in. As an attendee to InfoComm 2015 you get to vote on who the best resident of the Innovation Showcase is. By casting your vote you can help InfoComm give away $10,000, a 10 x 10 foot booth at InfoComm 2016, and a joint press release with the winner and InfoComm International. Not too bad of a prize for an up-and-coming product. This is all being given away by InfoComm International as a way to bring to light some pretty remarkable new ideas.

Plus AVNation will be going through the Innovations Showcase to interview the exhibitors and see what they have and why it matters to you as an integrator, technology manager, or even a manufacturer. So, get yourself registered for InfoComm 2015 and once you are there head over to the Innovations Showcase at Booth 5585 and cast your vote for who you think is the most innovative.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. Have a great week.
