Like many of you, we at AVNation are planning for 2017. ISE is coming up and we are sending a team to Amsterdam to cover this great show. NSCA’s BLC is right after and I am speaking at PSNI’s Super Summit. That’s just February and early March.
Between now and then there is CES, several local InfoComm events and a presidential inauguration here in the States.
What I’d like to talk about today is how you plan for the next year. It’s really a question for you, dear reader, than it is for me. I would really love to know. This is the first time I will be running a company in the midst of a presidential transition.
While we have are regular stable of trade shows we are attending, my main job at AVNation is revenue generation. That’s a fancy term for sales. I also forecast for the year to see if we can hire anyone extra or we need to cut back on things like, you know, heat.
So, for those of you who have guided the ship through uncertain waters before, how did you do it? What is the secret of going from one administration, or party, to another. Or, is there no secret at all? Do you simple keep on doing what you’ve been doing?
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and giving us your insights. Have a great week.
