Resetting Podcasts

One of the great things about this new site is the ability to customize our podcast feeds. If you haven’t done so yet, I would encourage you to go over to the RSS Feed page and check them out. There is one there that is all encompassing. It is called the “All Series”.  This podcast feed will give you every podcast we produce all in one feed.
The other thing our new podcast delivery system allows us to do is to embed the podcasts into our site. For the last six years, we have utilized Amazon’s S3 platform for both storage and delivery of the podcasts. It’s a great service and one that Netflix, Twitter, and others continue to use. For us, though, it was nice to bring things all under one roof.
We have noticed a hiccup, however. In migrating everything over some of you have lost connection with the feeds. From what I can tell it is a group of listeners whose podcatchers use raw RSS feed code. Try as we might the redirect hasn’t worked to date. So, here is what I would like to suggest.
For those not using iTunes podcast app or Sticher, please unsubscribe from the podcast. Then resubscribe using the feed URL listed here. https://avnation.tv/avnation-rss/ . This will give you the most up to date shows and the best experience. We apologize for any inconvenience. I have talked with people much smarter than me on this and it seems to be the best solution to date. If you are using iTunes podcast app or Sticher, you should still be receiving our podcasts as normal and will not experience any disruption. However, if you’ve noticed you haven’t seen a new podcast on your player in a while I would suggest trying this. Thank you so much.
Thank you for taking time to read my blog. Have a great week.
