Spinitar Raised a Record Breaking $83K for City of Hope

LA MIRADA, CA, October 20 — Spinitar raised $83,000 for City of Hope, a world-renowned independent research, cancer and diabetes treatment center, at the record-breaking third annual Golf for Hope event held Thursday, October 12, 2017.
The top auction item raised $1,200, and included a one day trip to Catalina for the lucky winner, Antonio Dias, from Crestron, for himself and eight of his friends. Celebrity guest, Andy Buckley, who stars in the Bravo hit TV show, Odd Mom Out, spent the day entertaining the crowd, posing for selfies and signing autographs.
Contest holes included, two hole-in-one challenges sponsored by BMW and Jaguar Land Rover of Anaheim Hills, and also included, a closest to the pin, longest drive and putting contest. The winners of the contests were recognized at the awards ceremony with a cash prize and plaque in honor of their victory.
“It brings us great joy to be surrounded by so many caring individuals who are passionate about finding a cure for cancer, diabetes and other life-threatening illnesses,” said Jay Rogina.  “I am so proud of our industry partners, guests and employees who showed up to support a cause that unfortunately has touched many of our lives. We are honored to be partners with City of Hope for the third year in row, and we’re grateful to all of our family, friends and colleagues who came together in support of such a worthy cause.”
Having set a new record for sponsorships and donations, Spinitar recognized a vast number of companies and individuals who helped contribute to the overall success of the third annual Spinitar Golf for Hope event.
