Digital Signage Expo 2018 (DSE), the largest and longest running conference and trade show exclusively dedicated to showcasing innovative digital display and interactive technology solutions for customer and employee communications, is celebrating 15 years of innovation with its best lineup of exhibitors, technology and educational opportunities to date.
New for 2018, Emerging Tech Talks will take place in an on-floor education theater and will feature 45-minute sessions on some of the hottest current and future-looking topics in the digital signage industry. With sessions ranging from artificial intelligence and facial recognition to the impact of self-driving cars on the Digital Out-of-Home industry, these 10 sessions will give you a foundation to break new ground in your own space.
Also new for 2018 are the expanded Self-Service Pavilion, and Launch Pad, a specialty area for startups and first-time exhibitors, which will join other features on the show floor, including Central Park, which houses the Best Practices Theater and the New Product Showcase, the End User Networking Center, which will be home to several industry-specific meet and greets and the Digital Content Pavilion.
The 2018 floor plan is shaping up to cover 20 percent more space than last year’s record-breaking exhibit hall in order to accommodate more quality vendors from all corners of the diverse digital signage industry, and that means more face-to-face networking with industry decision-makers as well as an increasing hands-on familiarity with the latest and greatest flat panels, media players, digital signage software packages and more.
The conference program will feature more than 85 education opportunities, ranging from full-day events to 50-minute seminars in eight tracks, including industry-specific tracks geared toward end users in Retail, Restaurants, Corporate Communications and Higher Education.
Full-day programs will include Digital Out-of-Home Strategy Summit, SEGD Branded Environments, four offerings from the Digital Signage Experts Group and an all-new program from the Center for Digital Experience – Survive and Thrive in the Digital Experience Economy: A Workshop for Success. Additionally, the Digital Workplace Summit returns as a full two-day event with an optional third day of pre-show education. Finally, the Digital Signage Guided Installation Tour returns with all-new stops on or near the Las Vegas strip, providing live and unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to some of the most impressive digital experiences in the country.
One of the most popular events at DSE, is free for all attendees, is the Wednesday night Networking Reception and APEX Awards Ceremony. The APEX Awards celebrate the best interactive and digital signage installations and content from the past 12 months.
