John Dixon at Christie shows Matt Scott their new 65″ panels, configured into a video wall. Dixon emphasizes that the tiled LCD offers 4K on each panel, something that’s fairly unique in the industry. The array is ideal for command and control settings where 4K HD offers the highest level of detail. Additionally, the tile is quite thin, making mounting and servicing much easier. Christie offers a mounting system that mounts less than 4″ from the wall. The remote power supply brings value to both the integrator and the end user, up to 300′ feet away. There are many more opportunities to display innovative content. especially with under a .88 mm bezel. Christie sees the project fitting well where rear projection displays used to be. There is also a wide range of processing solutions, offering a complete turnkey solution for video.
The micro tiles are geared to be extremely easy to install and use. All the hardware is contained within the unit, and the robust imagery is limited only by the imagination.

That gives us a unique perspective on the industry and allows us to ask questions end users, technology managers, IT managers, and AV integrators would ask. Our coverage of InfoComm 2019 comes from these points of view. Everything we are able to do is made possible by our supporters who provide the financial support for AVNation.
