Terra Powers Content in Christie’s Booth at InfoComm2019

Terra performance is front and center, running all the content in Christie’s large InfoComm19 booth.

Booth 2543 – Christie’s Karl Johnson showed AV Nation’s Tim Albright their multi-source, multi-screen Terra controller, which is providing content to over 50 outlet points within their booth. In this IP solution, versatility is key – for example, in the booth they are switching from a command and control center to a Spyder on flat panel video displays. The capabilities go far beyond a typical AV over IP solution. Terra can manage video, audio and control signals, moving it a step ahead of other solutions.

The breadth of what Terra can do includes blending, switching and distribution, source content, and processing making it an end to end solution. With large format displays, uncompressed content is important because it provides a much higher quality output, and Terra handles that. Christie is also highlighting a range of data connectivity products that use 10 gigabit ethernet connectivity, including the microtile LED introduced earlier this year at ISE.
