CEDIA Awards 2019 honors residential dealers across North America

The 2019 CEDIA Awards moved from CEDIA Expo to stand along event

Chicago – CEDIA celebrated their 30th anniversary by switching things up. Their annual CEDIA Awards moved from the CEDIA Expo in September to July. The annual recognition of the best residential AV installations was a grand affair at the fabled Drake Hotel in Chicago.

AV professionals from across North America gathered in the Grand Ballroom of the Drake Hotel. The event was the finale of a day of business education. It was CEDIA’s first time combining a business leadership event with their awards ceremony. From attendance and initial feedback, the day was fairly successful.

Manufacturers, members of the press, and other dealers were on hand to congratulate the nine different integrators taking home awards. Two companies, La Scala and Audio Images, took home four awards each.

The 2019 CEDIA Awards were made possible by a number of sponsors. The title sponsor was Crestron.
