The Next Generation of Projection Mounts From Chief At CEDIA Expo 2019

Mounting For Both Indoors and Outdoors

As part of coverage for CEDIA Expo 2019, Matt Scott talks to David Albright (no relation to AVNation founder Tim Albright) of Chief in the Legrand megabooth about the new VCT projector mounts.

This VCT series is the next generation of projection mounts. They are being built specifically with the latest generation of laser projectors in mind, with tool free adjusment allowing ease of access for fine tuning your projector’s position. This series is developed from Chief’s Heavy Duty VCM universal projector mounts, and we disucss what changes went into the newest line.

In addition, Chief showcases their outdoor wall mounts and what considerations have to be made when designing AV for the outdoors.

Chief is an industry leader in mounts and interactive solutions for the AV industry. Founded in 1978, Chief has designed state-of-the-art mount and rack solutions to complement the vast amount of solutions required in commercial and residential installations. In 2017, Milestone AV was acquired by Legrand, along with Chief for a deal valued around $950 million.
