Absorbing The Image
As part of CEDIA Expo 2019, Matt Scott talks to Senior Manager of product marketing Sarah Baum from Da-Lite in the Legrand booth about their new screen surface solution called Parallax Stratos. This screen surface is part of Da-Lite’s Parallax series, available up to sixteen feet in height. With their Ambient Light Rejection technology, it is able to produce a clear image regardless of light sources in the vicinity.
Founded in 1909, Da-Lite Screen Company has become the first name in projection screens for commercial and residential installations. In 2011, Milestone AV and Da-Lite announced a merger agreement. In 2017, Legrand announced their acquisition of Milestone AV, and companies like Chief and Da-Lite for a deal valued around $950 million.
