Taking A Tour Of The Lutron Luxury Sanctuary At CEDIA Expo 2019

The Full Lighting Experience

As part of our coverage of CEDIA Expo 2019, Matt Scott and Lutron Sales Manager Delia Hansen walk around and discuss the solutions that Lutron and Ketra bring to the residential space. Here we get the full experience of how Lutron’s lighting works in the home.

Through Lutron’s own HomeWorks control system, customers can control the lighting of each room of their house through a button press. Rooms can change their color temperature to fit different times of the day or to set a specific mood desired by the controller. The lighting can reach as low as 1400 Kelvin, a temperature lower and warmer than actual candlelight.

Lutron Electronics was founded in 1961 by Joel and Ruth Spira. They pioneered lighting control with dimmers and has since invented many different lighting control systems and solutions. In April of 2018, Lutron acquired Ketra, a tech manufacturer focusing on lighting products and solutions. More information about Lutron, Ketra, and their products and solutions can be found on their website.
