Maikel Koppen of Legrand talks Tim Albright through the newest iteration of Da-Lite’s Parallax Stratos projection screen.
Da-Lite debuted the Parallax Stratos thin screen at InfoComm 2019, where its Wireline Advantage technology gave the illusion that the screen was floating. For ISE, the company has upped the ante with the Parallax Stratos 1.0 ALR contrast screen for large venues — the screen can go up to 6 meters in width.
“What is very cool is there is always a triangle between the projector, the screen, and the environment,” Kopek says in answer to how Da-Lite is helping integrators make the right choice of projection material. “We can send out all of the updates and info material to our customers, but what is going on at a show like this, you can actually see what happens if you put different aspects in the equation.”
