The company’s short videos speed up setup and maximize the benefits of HoverCam’s document cameras and free Flex 11 software
In a move to assist educational institutions and companies affected by the COVID-19 crisis, HoverCam has reallocated its sales and support teams and dedicated more resources to meet the needs of teachers and employees working from home. In addition to HoverCam’s technical support specialists on standby, the company has made short videos available on its distance learning website to speed up setup and maximize the benefits of HoverCam’s document cameras and the free Flex 11 software.
“While distance learning and remote work opportunities have been on the rise for years, we recognize that today’s circumstances accelerated this trend. Teachers and employees are having to mobilize quickly and leverage new technology to stay productive,” said Ji Shen, CEO of HoverCam. “We are reinforcing our commitment to meeting the needs of teachers and employees by helping them host effective and engaging remote classrooms and meeting rooms. With intuitive engagement tools, integration with leading video conferencing platforms, as well as our knowledgeable and responsive support teams, we hope to not only smooth this transition but help build a system our customers can continue to use for years to come.”
HoverCam’s technical support specialists are available at www.hovercam.com/support or at firstname.lastname@example.org. Users can also access short instructional videos and learn how to take advantage of the features offered by HoverCam’s document cameras and the free Flex 11 software. HoverCam’s document cameras are compatible with many video conferencing and collaboration platforms, including Zoom, Google Hangouts, GradeCam, Microsoft Teams, and Skype. The updated Flex 11 software includes whiteboard functionality and improved screen recording so that screen-recorded videos play back smoothly. The software also includes intuitive lesson recording, picture-in-picture, the ability to annotate over the live camera image or desktop, and desktop sharing.
