NEC Display adds 5,000 lumen projector to P Series lineup

The P506QL provides an enhanced, high-quality viewing experience by combining Native 4K UHD resolution with 5,000 lumens of brightness

NEC Display has announced their new, cutting-edge P506QL projector. Joining the already successful P Series, the P506QL provides an enhanced, high-quality viewing experience by combining Native 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) resolution with 5,000 lumens of brightness. The first in the NEC P Series projector lineup to offer Native 4K UHD resolution with such brightness, the P506QL produces stunning images with incredible detail.

The P506QL provides a more seamless projection experience by being a maintenance-free solution. The P506QL uses laser-based projection, eliminating the need for bulb replacement. The projector’s 1-Chip DLP technology supports extended use applications, with a light source the lasts a minimum 20,000 hours.

The P506QL also offers installation-friendly features, including a broad 1.5x zoom lens, lens shift capabilities (H= +/- 20%/V= +/-60), and built-in HDBaseT support to simplify installations in challenging environments. Its 360-degree tilt-free rotation and portrait orientation capabilities add versatility for any application, and its HDBaseT technology reduces installation costs and cuts down on cable clutter.

The 4K UHD resolution offered by the P506QL allows for projection consistency. This technology offers the timesaving ability to use the same content across all 4K displays and provide the same, consistent resolution.

The P506QL also is covered under NEC’s industry-leading warranty: owners are covered for five years or 20,000 hours (whichever comes first) parts and labor, including NEC’s InstaCare next business day exchange.

The P506QL will be available to order starting June 1, 2020. MAP for the unit is $4,299.
