Kramer partners with NETGEAR to deliver futureproofed SDVoE solutions

JERUSALEM – Kramer has formed a global partnership with networking hardware specialist NETGEAR to deliver complete end to end solutions for AV over IP infrastructure and further accelerate Ethernet-based AV distribution in professional environments.

Kramer has made a long-term commitment to delivering audio and video over the IP network, with an extensive product range including encoders, decoders, transcoders, together with enterprise level management and control solutions.

Kramer’s offering now includes NETGEAR’s full range of data networking switches worldwide, giving customers a single point of contact for turnkey delivery of complete AV over IP solutions, optimized for their application.

This is ideal for large scale environments including both civil and military government applications for command and control rooms, education environments and corporate rollouts, ensuring future proofed, scalable and agile solutions that can continue to evolve with resolution, bandwidth and latency requirements.

Both Kramer and NETGEAR are founding members of the SDVoE Alliance, a consortium of technology providers who aim to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals, allowing software to define AV applications.
