Microban International and Poly bring antimicrobial technology to wireless phones

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Microban International and Poly are pleased to announce the launch of the new Poly Rove DECT™ IP phone solution, the first and only phones to feature built-in Microban® antimicrobial product protection. This newly developed product family is designed to stay cleaner for longer, giving you the confidence you need to collaborate in high-touch work settings.

The Poly Rove family – including Poly Rove 30 and Poly Rove 40 phones – features Microban’s antimicrobial technology to fight the growth of product damaging bacteria without affecting the phones’ appearance, functions or durability, for a 99 percent cleaner phone surface. The antimicrobial technology is integrated during manufacturing, which inhibits the growth of bacteria for the lifespan of the device, so you can communicate with total peace of mind.

“Microban is incredibly proud to partner with Poly to bring to market phones and conferencing devices that feature our patented antimicrobial protection,” said Michael Ruby, vice president of business development at Microban. “With Microban’s ‘always on’ technology now incorporated into the Poly Rove family, we’re delivering product protection that empowers Poly customers all around the world.”
