LENEXA, Kan. – MSE Audio, parent company of seven pro and residential audio brands, announces the appointment of Jim Latimer to Regional Sales Manager — Northern US. Latimer brings extensive industry experience to his new role.
“I’ve seen the music and sound business from a few different angles,” said Jim Latimer. “I spent approximately the first ten years of my career as a touring musician around New England and the East Coast. That experience prepared me for the next phase of working in and managing three musical instrument retail stores in three states. For the last 24 years I’ve worked for four pro audio manufacturers in national or regional sales capacities. They included Sonic Foundry, ADAM Audio, LOUD Technologies, and twice with Symetrix.”
“I really enjoy the MSE Audio team, the technology, and their approach to success in the market,” continued Latimer. “The product line is quite extensive and varied with specialty audio brands so there’s always something different to talk about. I’m meeting new people, and still get to work with many of the integrators and designers I’ve known for years. It’s a win-win.”
“Jim is a great fit for our team,” said Shannon Humphrey, president of MSE Audio. “His industry experience and relationships with integrators and end-users will be an asset as we launch our new products this year at both CEDIA Expo and InfoComm.”
Visit Jim and MSE Audio with Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, dARTS, Rockustics, SoundTube and SolidDrive at CEDIA Expo September 1-3, 2021, in Indianapolis, booth 3305 and sound room SR-15 for live demos.
MSE Audio will feature SoundTube, SolidDrive and Rockustics products at InfoComm in Orlando, Florida October 27-29 in the SoundTube booth 2843.
