Samsung Electronics America announces a slew of new products and updates for their televisions as well as their Platinum Program. The announcement comes just in time for CEDIA Expo 2021 in Indianapolis, IN.
“The home tech landscape has evolved dramatically over the last 18 months—this is a great moment to step back and finally see the exciting advancements in this industry first-hand,” said Mark Quiroz, Vice President of Marketing, Display Division at Samsung Electronics America.
Samsung introduced three new sizes for their flagship television the Neo QLED 4K TVs and Lifestyle TVs. The Neo QLED QN90A 4K will now be available in new 43”, 50”, and 98” sizes. The new screens will join the existing lineup of television sizes, providing diverse solutions for their customers. The Lifestyle portfolio will now offer a large 85” iteration of The Frame and a 65” Terrace Full Sun perfect for direct-sunlight installation. The expanded Frame portfolio will be available in 8 different sizes while the Terrace will have 5 in their portfolio.
Besides their new consumer screens, Samsung improved its LED The Wall Series. The 2021 model improved the picture quality, delivering high-quality 8K resolution with 120 Hz refresh rate and simple 8K playback. The massive screen promises to deliver an expansive and immersive experience.
Samsung has heard the demand for an easy-to-use content management system, so they introduced the OBR Series 75”, Pro TV 75”, and BHT Series Pro TV Terrace. For individuals seeking sleek enhancement to living areas with a seamless installation, these televisions offer that.
Along with the announcement of new television sizes, Samsung has upgraded their Platinum Program. The program now offers comprehensive regional distribution support and provides its partners with easier access to consumer and commercial products.
“This alliance with our partners has helped us achieve #1 market share in this market. We’re proud and appreciative of the partnerships that have brought us here,” says Jim Mayo, Executive Director of Custom Install Channel/Strategy at Samsung Electronics America.
As of 2021, Samsung and their Platinum dealers raised almost $300,000 in total for multiple charities such as Autism Speaks.
