Samsung Underscores its Commitment to the Hospitality Industry at HITEC 2021

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. renewed its promise to deliver display innovations and content management solutions at this year’s Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition (HITEC). Samsung is looking to provide digital solutions for hotels, casinos, and cruise leaders.

“The return to travel and prioritization on guest interaction has shifted the hospitality industry and how it traditionally delivers products and services,” said Chris Mertens, Vice-President of Sales, Samsung Electronics America Display Division. “The move to digitalized platforms has amplified during the pandemic, so we have taken time to reflect, research and gather feedback from the market on how to best meet evolving needs and enhance the hotel experience by making investments in guest-facing technology that leverages today’s display and network infrastructure options.”

New Smart Hospitality TV

Samsung unveils the newest guest-facing technology with its New QLED 4K Smart TV Series. The Q60A and Q50A Hospitality TVs combine Samsung Quantum Dot processors with 4K resolution and Smart TV features for optimal picture quality and sound. The Q60A is compatible with Samsung LYNK Cloud for easier device management, content management, and business analytics. LYNK Cloud controls in-room media with ease, delivering smart brand content through Samsung’s secure commercial-grade TVs. Guest can now enjoy YouTube TV and Tubi, offering tons of content and video-on-demand services.

Samsung Kiosk

The 24-inch touch display elevates the guest experience and simplifies check-in/out, ordering, and other engagements thanks to the simple interface. The kiosk is powered thanks to Samsung’s proven SoC technology, removing the need for an external PC. The flexible kiosk offers a quick set-up and makes maintenance fast and easy.

Electric Vehicle Charging Station Featuring the BMW i8

The Kiosk provides top notch charging service for electric vehicles. Samsung will showcase an EV charging station that utilizes its Kiosk solution with a BMW i8 hybrid sports car. The touchscreen display can use user data and programmatic advertising technology delivering targeted advertising and deliver hotel messages.

MagicInfo 9

MagicInfo 9 is Samsung’s premier content and device management software solution. The platform streamlines management abilities to create, schedule, and play content across multiple devices on a single signage network.

LYNK Cloud

LYNK Cloud is the all-in-one platform for maintaining, monitoring, and managing fleet of in-room televisions. The platform is engineered for hospitality thanks to its real-time performance monitoring. The advanced business analytics amd content authoring tools make it perfect for management solution for in-room media.

LED

Samsung plans to unveil its latest LED display portfolios for indoor and outdoor applications. Samsung outdoor displays are designed in recognition of how properties are leveraging digital displays. They will introduce the XPR-B for outdoor application and The Wall for indoor use at HITEC 2021.
