Integrated Systems Europe is back in the physical space for 2022, and AVNation is on the ground in Barcelona to see everything innovative in the AV space. We are joined by Vice President of Global Sales at Felipe Hermosillo in our studio to discuss their ActiveCool cooling system.

ActiveCool was initially launched back during Integrated Systems Europe 2020, and is a closed-loop cooling system for large outdoor enclosures. Through their system, it can house powerful laser projectors and keep them running smoothly through thermal dissipation. Compared to the older lamp-based projectors, laser projector systems are much more sensitive to variances in temperature, and can affect things like color balance for their images. With ActiveCool, that issue is taken out of the equation.

The system is designed to work in conjunction with Tempest’s own Cyclone outdoor enclosure, providing automatic temperature regulation to any laser projection system. It can even be equipped on cruise ships with an optional Salt Fog protection kit.

More information about Tempest, ActiveCool and their other lines of products can be found on their website.
