In Las Vegas for InfoComm 2022, AVNation’s Rich Fregosa is back with Scott Krueckberg, the Head of Strategic Alliances at DTEN. They’ve spoken about Scott’s organization as a whole, but here they dive into the different product offerings on display at the DTEN booth.

Two of those products are ONboard and ME Pro, which combine to create a use-case based solution for workspace reservations. In the past, workspace reservation has been an expensive area for organizations to enter into—licensing and hardware costs have traditionally been up to twenty times the cost of what DTEN and Zoom rooms can bring to customers today.

For its part, ONboard is used as a lobby touchscreen that displays a facility map of meeting and office spaces. The ME Pro acts as a personal workstation. Together with those products and Zoom, organizations can have a complete solution for workspace reservations.

When someone walks into an office with DTEN ONboard, they’ll see a map of both conference rooms and individual workstations, each color coded by availability. This includes flex spaces, hot desks, and more. After a user selects their space and time using a QR code, they’ll receive a confirmation both on their mobile device and on their ME Pro. Then, once a user gets to the station, they’ll confirm one more time—officially checking them in and logging them in to see their personal meetings, contacts, information, and more. They’ll set a personal PIN to keep their space secure for the day.

DTEN’s flagship product, the D7, has been optimized with DTEN partner Zoom over the past four years to create what Scott calls the best collaboration tool on the market. This is an all-in-one system that includes 16 microphones, a 4K camera, stereo speakers, and of course, a high-tech touchscreen available in two sizes. The system combines high performance and meeting equity for all meeting participants, no matter where they’re located. It also includes features like advanced cameras and multi-screen, a smart gallery experience in a Zoom room.

D7 supports Zoom’s latest tools such as advanced whiteboard, which powers collaboration among participants previously available to only those who were working together in person.
