Severtson Screens Features New Ultra Short Throw ALR (UST) Projection Screens During CEDIA Expo 2022

Severtson Screens will feature its new Ultra Short Throw ALR (UST) projection screens during CEDIA Expo 2022, held in Dallas from Sept. 29 – Oct. 1 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, booth #10035.

“Our new Ultra Short Throw ALR projection screens are engineered to reject ambient light, leaving the audience with a bright, clear image, even when there is light coming from above,” explained Aaron White, Home Theater & Pro AV sales lead at Severtson Corp. “The unique material provides excellent contrast, so images don’t appear washed out, and the carefully formulated surface pitch ensures the image from an ultra-short throw projector is bright and clear.”

Specifications include:

  • Surface: a unique ALR material, for excellent contrast, and a superior viewing experience.
  • Gain: 0.6 on axis +/- 0.2
  • Half-Gain: Viewing Angle 85 degrees
  • Cone Viewing Angle: 170 degrees
  • HD Compatibility: 4K+

“See the movie come to life as Severtson UST enhances the picture: bolder and clearer than ever before,” White concluded. “Thanks to its unique optical film and dark color, UST will always provide plenty of contrast. Severtson UST is built to last, and provides a shimmer-free image, making Severtson UST the best value for an Ultra Short Throw ALR screen on the market.”
