HDANYWHERE Brings Back Universal Remotes To ISE 2023

A Remote For All Seasons

Integrated Systems Europe returns to Barcelona, and AVNation covers not only what’s on the show floor but who comes through our own studio space. We sit down with HDANYWHERE’s Founder Chris Pinder to discuss their uControl universal remote.

uControl is originally a smartphone platform, made for the home space to control smart home devices at an affordable, mid-market price point. Now they are introducing this remote, which can handle media, lighting shading and more within the home space.

Last year, Logitech shut down their Harmony universal remote line. But if anything, Pinder sees that as an opportunity. “No one expected Harmony to disappear in the way that it has, but hopefully we can fill some of that void with the remote. There’s a lot of people wanting smart home control at a more affordable price point.” HDANYWHERE looks to streamline the process for customers through their uControl platform.

More information about HDANYWHERE and their new remote can be found on their website. More coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 by AVNation can be found here.
