CEDIA Expo 2023 is one of the largest trade shows for the AV industry, looking at the latest innovations and technology within the residential space. Tim Albright had a chance to scope out the massive Legrand booth and get a look at the different companies under the Legrand umbrella. Within the Vaddio space we talk to Director of Product Management Beth Peterson about the newest additions to their AV over IP solutions.
While Legrand and Vaddio are no strangers to the trade show space, but it is normally shows leaning towards the commercial space like InfoComm or ISE. Now they are looking into the residential space. “We’re excited to have Vaddio here for the first time at CEDIA,” Peterson explains, “A lot of our residential integrators are doing more conference rooms and light commercial activities, and looking for conference room solutions.”
To that end, Vaddio showed off their EasyIP networked AV solutions at the show. As the name suggests, the EasyIP ecosystem sends video over IP through network cables and a switch. Its ease in installation allows for use in conference rooms of all sizes, and easy to manage through their Vaddio Device Control touch panel.
More information about Legrand and Vaddio can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of CEDIA Expo 2023 and more can be found here.
