One of the initial outcomes of this collaboration is the integration of Barco’s ClickShare devices with Microsoft’s Teams Rooms Pro Management Portal. This collaboration aims to provide IT decision-makers with valuable insights without disrupting the user experience. When initiating a Teams call, the user’s Teams desktop client will identify the connected microphone, speaker, and camera through the ClickShare Base Unit and Button, transmitting the data to the Teams Pro Portal.
Moreover, when multiple users connect to the same ClickShare Base Unit, this information will be aggregated and made available for IT managers within the Pro Management portal. This functionality enables the registration and efficient management of meeting spaces within organizations.
