Visix Named to Inc.’s Annual List of Best Workplaces for 2024

Visix has been named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list, receiving special recognition in the Micro and Southeast Region categories. This honor is based on an employee survey and a benefits assessment, showing high engagement and satisfaction among Visix employees.

Visix has been named to Inc.’s annual Best Workplaces list, which honors 543 American companies that have excelled in creating exceptional workplaces and company cultures, selected from thousands of applicants operating in physical or virtual facilities. Visix’s inclusion in the full list, as well as special recognition in the Micro and Southeast Region categories, highlights its enduring commitment to its people and values.

“Each year, Inc.’s Best Workplaces program recognizes the very best in terms of companies that have fostered a truly amazing culture,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Mike Hofman. “We use hard metrics and data as well as qualitative measures for judging in order to find the very best—and we’re proud that the program is highly selective.”

Each nominated company participated in an employee survey, conducted by Quantum Workplace, and a benefits assessment. Visix’s benefits scored 6% higher than the average for same-sized finalists. The survey, which included topics such as management effectiveness, perks, fostering employee growth and overall company culture, showed the number of highly engaged employees at Visix to be 5% higher than the national average for same-sized companies, and 8% higher than all other software finalists.

“This recognition is deeply meaningful to me,” says Sean Matthews, president and CEO of Visix. “We’ve always understood that you can’t provide exceptional customer service if your own people aren’t happy. Our priority is to attract, retain and motivate a talented team of creative, innovative people, and to give them the tools and opportunities to shine. We went through a pretty substantial transition from an in-office to a hybrid workforce over the past several years, and it’s tremendous that we haven’t degraded the close-knit culture and family-feeling community we’ve built over four decades in business.”
