Somfy North America Enables Remote Service with Launch of New Web Application

Somfy, for over 50 years, has been in motorization and automated solutions for window coverings and shading products, focusing on comfort, security, and sustainability.

Somfy Systems has launched Serv-e-Go, a new web application designed for systems integrators to remotely monitor, manage, and support Somfy motorized shading installations that use Zigbee motors. The platform provides real-time insights and controls, such as monitoring battery levels, shading speed, and device status, and facilitates remote troubleshooting, settings modification, and software updates.

Serv-e-Go aims to streamline integrators’ workflows, minimize system downtime, and improve customer satisfaction by offering enhanced visibility, control, and remote management capabilities for Somfy’s motorized shading systems.

Somfy Systems, the global leader for interior window coverings and exterior solar protection, announces the launch of Serv-e-Go, its new web application enabling an unmatched level of service and support for Somfy motorized shading installations when using Zigbee motors.

It is a well-known fact that systems integrators can streamline workflows and increase customer satisfaction by proactively monitoring and managing projects remotely. When using the Somfy TaHoma® switch, which supports as many as 60 Somfy Zigbee motors, Serv-e-Go gives systems integrators valuable real-time insight into projects of all sizes.  Highly detailed information including battery level, radio transmission range, shading speed, device status, and alerts offer an unprecedented level of control and visibility.  From a single Web-based platform, systems integrators can actively monitor Somfy-powered projects to remotely diagnose and resolve issues, modify settings, execute software updates, and offer guided troubleshooting tips to customers. System downtime is dramatically diminished while customer satisfaction is significantly improved.

“The launch of Serv-e-Go is an exciting development for integrators that further enhances the customer experience with Somfy products. We are proud of our team for continuing to develop outstanding solutions that the market truly needs,” said Amit Parpani, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Somfy North America.

Parpani added, “By leveraging the latest technologies and our Zigbee-based bidirectional ecosystem, Somfy customers can achieve significant efficiencies and enhanced experiences, from product configuration in the factory to system commissioning at home, and through to remote after-sales support.”
