The monitor enhances radiology workflows by providing accurate image clarity, versatile viewing modes, and easy calibration. It caters to the diverse needs of healthcare professionals, aiming to improve diagnostic efficiency and image analysis in medical environments.

LG Business Solutions USA has launched its new LG 2MP IPS Diagnostic Monitor (Model 24HR513C-B), adding to LG’s comprehensive lineup of diagnostic displays, which includes 3MP, 5MP, 8MP and 12MP models.

The new multi-purpose 24-inch 2MP monitor is a highly versatile display for general radiology viewing, with out-of-the-box 350 cd/m2 DICOM calibration for radiology imaging. It includes an internal front calibration sensor which enables calibration without the need for additional measuring equipment and helps maintain stable image quality with calibration software.

The monitor’s Focus View Mode highlights specific parts of the medical image, allowing users to easily select and focus on targeted areas while darkening the rest of the screen. Pathology Mode provides image clarity and accuracy as if looking at a microscope. Daisy Chain Setup helps optimize workflow, such as the ability to connect two 3MP diagnostic monitors for medical images, while patient charts can be displayed on the 24HR513C-B monitor. An Auto Luminance Sensor also sets screen brightness properly for ambient lighting.

The new 2MP monitor can be conveniently managed with calibration software. Compliant with DICOM Part 14, this software enables precise and consistent display of medical images, while also enabling efficient, simultaneous calibration of multiple monitors.

Designed to be adjustable for the posture of users’ image review, the 24HR513C-B’s one-click stand makes the installation process simple. This ergonomically designed stand allows users to freely adjust the tilt, height, and swivel, and features a bi-directional auto pivot function for added flexibility. With connectivity support including HDMI, DisplayPort, and DVI-D, the monitor guarantees compatibility with a wide range of interfaces, enhancing user convenience.

LG’s expanded lineup of diagnostic monitors meets the diverse display needs of large hospitals, offering 2MP and 3MP models for radiology image reading, 5MP and 12MP models suitable for mammography, with 8MP and 12MP models equipped with Picture-by-Picture (PBP) mode for simultaneous review of multiple diagnostic images.
