Datapath Unveils Major Upgrades to Aetria at ISE 2025

At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025, Datapath showcased significant enhancements to its Aetria platform, reinforcing its position as a leader in control room solutions. AVNation.tv’s Tim Albright sat down with Steve Simpson from Datapath to discuss the latest innovations and how they benefit end-users in mission-critical environments.

Aetria, a fully integrated platform for command and control applications, has been engineered from the ground up to provide seamless management of source content across video walls and operator desks. By enabling operators to bring sources from the video wall to their workspace, interact with them, and return them to the wall, Aetria streamlines workflows and enhances operational efficiency. With built-in KVM functionality, users can seamlessly control local devices over AV-over-IP, ensuring flexibility and ease of use across networks.

Key Enhancements in Aetria Version 10
Datapath has introduced several groundbreaking updates to Aetria, making it smarter and more adaptable than ever before:

  • Node-RED Integration: Aetria now supports Node-RED, an open-source platform that enhances automation and third-party device control. This addition allows intelligent workflows such as automatic source failover, ensuring continuous operation without manual intervention.
  • Automated Scheduling: Users can now schedule content display at specific times, optimizing efficiency for different operational needs.
  • Advanced LED Screen Controls: Brightness levels and other display parameters can be managed directly from Aetria’s upgraded touch panel, improving usability and customization.
  • Expanded Control & Automation Features: While not a full-fledged control system, Aetria now provides enhanced automation capabilities, reducing reliance on external control solutions.

“Aetria continues to evolve as the ultimate command and control solution, offering unmatched flexibility and automation,” said Steve Simpson. “With Version 10, we are delivering smarter, more responsive capabilities that make control room operations more intuitive and efficient.”
