AVNation’s Tim Albright recently chatted with Ryan Budvitis from Shure at Shure’s headquater to discuss Shure’s latest product innovations and ongoing roadshow, celebrating the company’s 100th anniversary.
During the interview, Budvitis highlighted Shure’s groundbreaking solutions designed to enhance unified communications (UC) experiences. One of the key product reveals was the MXA 902 and USB bundle, which simplifies installation and configuration for integrators and end-users alike. This plug-and-play solution is engineered to deliver superior audio performance without the need for complex programming or commissioning.
In addition, Budvitis introduced Shure’s new pendant speakers, which build on Shure’s legacy of speaker innovation dating back to the 1960s. These speakers are designed specifically for voice intelligibility, making them ideal for conferencing applications. Shure also unveiled a matching amplifier with integrated DSP, capable of powering up to eight speakers from a single port — a game-changing feature for streamlined installations.
Another major announcement was Shure’s IntelliMix Room Kits, which combine Shure’s renowned microphone technology with a complete UC system solution. Featuring auto-configuration capabilities, these kits drastically reduce deployment time and complexity, ensuring optimal performance with minimal effort.
Shure also showcased its latest advancements in wireless technology with the Microflex Wireless NeXt 2, NeXt 4, and NeXt 8 systems. These solutions offer expanded I/O, integrated DSP, and streamlined connectivity through daisy-chained charging ports and direct USB out capabilities. Budvitis emphasized that Shure’s continued focus on integrated DSP allows for faster deployment and improved audio quality.
As part of its 100th-anniversary celebration, Shure has embarked on an extensive eight-week roadshow across the United States to showcase these innovations to integrators and end-users. Attendees can experience Shure’s latest solutions firsthand and learn how they simplify installations and improve overall UC experiences.
