BenQ Releases New Pantone Validated Digital Signage

BenQ has launched the SL04, a cutting-edge digital signage display that sets new standards for color accuracy and seamless integration. It is the world’s first signage display to be Pantone® Validated, Pantone® SkinTone™ Validated, and Google EDLA-certified, ensuring vibrant, true-to-life colors. With sRGB 99% color gamut and specialized modes for coding, ePaper, and MacBook users, the SL04 is designed to enhance visual experiences in corporate and educational settings. The display also features 500 nits brightness, anti-glare technology, built-in 12W speakers, and flexible portrait/landscape modes, making it a versatile solution for various environments.

Beyond stunning visuals, the SL04 simplifies IT management with BenQ’s X-Sign software and Device Management Solution (DMS), allowing remote content management, firmware updates, and device provisioning. InstaShare 2 wireless screen sharing ensures smooth collaboration across different platforms, and Google Play Protect security keeps devices safe from harmful apps. Designed to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and support seamless integration with Google services, the BenQ SL04 is a powerful digital signage solution built for modern businesses and educational institutions.

BenQ, an internationally renowned provider of visual display and collaboration solutions, today announced its latest display innovation, the BenQ SL04. The SL04 series is the world’s first signage display to be Pantone® Validated, Pantone® SkinTone™ Validated, and Google EDLA-certified and to feature a vivid color gamut and powerful signage content management.

“When BenQ launched the first Pantone Validated SL Series five years ago, it set a new standard for color accuracy in signage displays,” said Carly Burton-Sallay, senior marketing manager at BenQ. “The SL04 offers unmatched color accuracy with Pantone and Pantone SkinTone validation, along with smooth integration with Google services and BenQ X-Sign for efficient communication across schools and organizations. It empowers users to foster collaboration, improve teaching, and simplify communication, all while making IT management easier.”

Color Accuracy for True-to-Life Colors and Unlimited Creativity
BenQ cares about color accuracy. With sRGB 99% color gamut and innovative color modes for various scenarios, the SL04 series offers outstanding color accuracy. In addition, the SL04 offers Pantone mode, which delivers the vibrant hues of the Pantone palette and the nuanced tones of the Pantone SkinTone Guide to enhance color-focused needs. MacBook users will appreciate the M-book mode, ensuring that the colors that are shown on their MacBook are accurately displayed on the SL04. Finally, the SL04 offers Coding and ePaper modes. Coding mode makes displaying code crystal-clear thanks to enhanced contrast and color temperature for better programming and coding lessons. ePaper mode simulates reading on traditional paper by reducing contrast and color temperature and converting images to grayscale, reducing eye strain and conserving energy.

End-to-End Signage Features and Tools
The BenQ SL04 was built to meet the nonnegotiable need for digital signage in both corporate and educational settings. With 500 nits of brightness, the SL04 can easily display content in reception areas, hallways, libraries, and conference rooms, and is easy on the eyes with its antiglare screen and low-blue light technology. Managers can maximize the Google ecosystem on the SL04 by connecting USB devices such as a keyboard and mouse for truly seamless interaction. It also offers portrait and landscape modes, two built-in 12W speakers to support audio messages and video, an IR sensor block for unauthorized control from universal remotes, as well as Wi-Fi and USB covers.

In addition, users can take advantage of BenQ’s X-Sign software, allowing users to remotely create, manage, and display signage content on every BenQ display. The advanced features in X-Sign allow users to push real-time and scheduled announcements and content to every connected BenQ display on the premises. In addition to creation and management tools, X-Sign also blocks unwanted pop-up messages or alerts.

Tapped Into IT
As part of the BenQ ecosystem, the BenQ SL04 benefits from BenQ leadership in streamlined management. The BenQ ecosystem makes managing devices, apps, and user accounts simpler than ever to reduce the workload on IT and admin staff. With the BenQ Device Management Solution (DMS), IT admins can manage SL04 displays remotely, including managing device settings and power schedules, updating firmware, installing and blocking apps, and more. They can also quickly provision multiple new SL04 displays by simply scanning the barcode on the box or device to bind them to DMS.

Seamless Wireless Sharing and Smart Features
The BenQ SL04 makes screen sharing effortless. With InstaShare 2, users can wirelessly cast their screens without the need for extra hardware. Compatible with Windows, Android, macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and ChromeOS, it enables smooth presentations and easy content control through its built-in smart controller. Users can also securely log in via QR code using the BenQ Account Management System to access cloud drives, apps, and bookmarks. Plus, with EDLA certification, the SL04 provides access to the Google Play Store while ensuring security with Google Play Protect, which blocks and removes potentially harmful apps.
