Complete Global Saturation

Whether you are in your office, at home or around the globe, we are here to provide you with the latest news coming out of the commercial side of the AV industry. Joining us this week is Vice President of Sales and Operations for Nationwide AV Brock McGinnis, Director of Sales for the Production Resource Group Alexis La Broi, and Executive Director at PSNI Global Alliance Chris Miller.

ADI Global Distribution has announced their intentions to unify their Pro AV products under the ADI Global Distribution brand. What this seemingly tautologic statement means is that the newly acquired Shoreview Distribution business as well as Herman Pro AV will be tied under this new name. Herman Integration Services (HIS) will stay as a separate entity and continue being a value-added service for ADI. What does global expansion for distributors like this mean for dealers around the world? Looking at the drive to globalization within the AV market and what this means for the industry at large.

Former head of human resources for Google Laszlo Bock calls hybrid work just a phase. The claims are that older managers don’t know how to lead hybrid workers, and will pressure employees back into the office to grant them advantages such as promotions. Is it just a matter of time before everyone back in the office like nothing happened in the last 2 years? Discussing the state of the workplace and where workers will be moving forward.
