Digital Projection Delivers Unprecedented Installation Ease and Flexibility from New Modular 3-Chip DLP Projectors

Digital Projection, a pioneer in Digital Light Processing technology, introduced the world’s first 3-chip DLP projector in 1997 and has won numerous awards, including two Emmy Awards.

Digital Projection showcases new RGB laser illuminated Satellite Modular Laser System projection systems at CEDIA 2023, featuring a modular design for faster installation and superior performance.

New laser illuminated Satellite Modular Laser Systems from Digital Projection are dramatically lighter, smaller, and quieter than other DLP options but with all the performance bells and whistles.

Digital Projection demonstrates the performance and aesthetic advantages of two new RGB laser illuminated Satellite Modular Laser System (MLS) projection systems at CEDIA 2023 Booth #2543. The unique modular design of the MLS line, which separates the projector head from the pure laser light engine, enables faster, easier installation and no-compromise performance and has landed DP several prestigious awards. Dealers have a choice of two models: the HIGHlite, a 10,000-lumen 4K UHD Reference model, and the brighter, more powerful TITAN, which delivers up to 30,000 lumens. Both deliver near-REC2020 color space for beautifully saturated and lifelike images and true installation flexibility and ease from a projector chassis that’s significantly smaller and lighter than other premium 3-chip DLP projectors on the market.

The HIGHlite Satellite MLS weighs just 42 pounds, compared to the 120 pounds of most other projectors in its class and is 83% smaller than its original integrated design; the TITAN Satellite MLS weighs 81 pounds compared to the 200 pounds of most other projectors in its class and is 70% smaller. Because the projector chassis and light source are two separate components, they can be installed apart from each other and connected by included fiber optic cable. This minimizes noise from interfering with the viewing experience, enables greater customization, and simplifies upgrades and maintenance.

“One of the overarching tenets at Digital Projection is to develop the types of imaging products that help dealers expand into new markets and build business. The introduction of our HIGHlite and TITAN Satellite Modular Laser Systems is a reflection of this commitment,” says Jeff Schneider, Digital Projection Director of Sales, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic Regions. “These uniquely designed two-piece projectors can fit into places that traditional large, heavy premium projectors can’t so dealers can commission projects they might have otherwise turned down due to the significant amount of time and labor it would have taken to complete. With either of our Satellite Modular Laser Systems, they can get in and out of even the most challenging jobs faster and with less manpower and move on to the next project.”
