For our coverage of CEDIA Expo 2019, Matt Scott is in the Z-Wave Alliance pavilion talking to Executive Director of the Z-Wave Alliance Mitchell Klein about the multitude of products from their members as well as what it meant being honored the 2019 CEDIA Lifetime Achievement recipient.

The Z-Wave 700 series platform is made to accommodate every product in the Z-Wave ecosystem for a connected smart home. In addition, every system on the 700 line is built with Z-Wave’s SmartStart technology, simplifying the installation and setup of smart home solutions.

The CEDIA Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes an individual who exhibits innovative and outstanding leadership for the growth of the AV industry. Mitchell Klein has been a veteran in the residential space for over thirty years, leading companies that have innovated the industry as a whole and sparking initiatives within CEDIA.

The Z-Wave Alliance was founded in 2005 by a group of home control solution manufacturers looking to create a true standard for products and systems. Since their creation, the companies have expanded to over 700 members that create solutions for their platforms.
