Learning about Learning
As technology progresses and our buildings become “smarter”, we look at how architects and engineers are keeping up to meet the standards of modern design. On this episode of Architech, we discuss how educational facilities from elementary to higher ed have evolved, and how the more technical minded student body is revolutionizing how classroom design is apporached. We also take a look from the side of the manufacturer and what companies are doing to help modernize the classroom.

Technology has become an integral part of our daily lives. From the time we wake until we shut down the living space at night, we are surrounded by, and interact with, technology. Architects are incorporating technology and making these interactions more seamless and natural. Smart homes, smart buildings, are common place.
AVNation’s ArchiTech podcast looks at the intersection between technology and architecture. Architects are tasked with creating a space that is both functional but also aesthetically pleasing. In addition, they are increasingly being asked to make a home or building “smart”; connected throughout and intuitive. The ArchiTech show invites architects, technologists, audiovisual integrators, and manufacturers to discuss the latest in design and technology. The program will explore how these two worlds can come together and create unique experiences that continue to impress those using the space long after the contractors have left.
