Challenges Present Opportunities
Originally, InfoComm 2020 was supposed to be held this week in Las Vegas. Of course, that’s not how things happened in the first half of 2020, since COVID-19 shook up the world and cancelled or postponed nearly every trade show and public event. But instead of skipping a year, AVIXA announced a virtual version of InfoComm called InfoComm Connected from June 16-18, hosting a variety of online courses, seminars, virtual booth tours and more. On this AVNation Special, we are joined by Executive Vice President and COO for Almo Sam Taylor looking at InfoComm Connected. Almo is no stranger to events, even of the virtual kind. They have run the E4 Experience for over 10 years, and with the COVID-19 pandemic have shifted to their own virtual events, E4v. We discuss how Almo is supporting AVIXA in this time, and what they are expecting to see from this virtual conference.
