HARMAN is taking legal action against manufacturers and distributors involved in the sale and production of counterfeit JBL products in India. Their investigative team and law enforcement seized counterfeit JBL solutions in two raids and intends to continue investigations to curb counterfeit products. What can integrators or even distributors do to ensure that what they have is the real deal? Looking at counterfeiting in the AV industry and what could be done moving forward.

Resorts World Las Vegas has built what might be the largest AV-over-IP network as part of a project in Vegas. The resort features over 3500 guest rooms, 40 food and beverage outlets and a a 5000-capacity theater to name just a few features. It also have more than 2000 endpoints and that number is growing. This scale of project also required a whole host of integrators coming together to bring this project to life. We look at how collaboration works with integrators on this size, and the impact of AV over IP solutions on projects like this. This then takes a life of its own as we talk about what might become the industry standard for AV over IP solutions.
