AVWeek 598: Live From ISE 2023

Back To Barcelona

If AVWeek is committed to bringing you the latest news and information surrounding the commercial side of the AV industry then there is no better place to do just that than Integrated Systems Europe 2023. We have a jam-packed episode with many guests across the field of AV to discuss how this return to Barcelona has been a success.

We start by sitting down with Clive Couldwell, AV Magazine Editor In Chief and Gina Sansivero, Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Connections for AtlasIED. We ask them about their show experience, and what it means to be in Barcelona.

Next we talk to Nancy Blanchard, Global Consultant Liaison for Williams AV and Tobi Tungl of CTI about their experiences at the show. Tobi was in fact one of the presenters for AVNation, so he had a lot of coverage of the show floor. We discuss the matter of supply chain within AV, and what this means as we move forward.

Our next conversation is with Steve Greenblatt, founder of Control Concepts & host of our own show A State of Control (of which Rich is the co-host!) and Ryan Gray, Assistant Director of IT Services for Yavapai College. We speak to the show from both the programming side as well as higher education, and how groups like HETMA are bringing technology forward in learning spaces.

Finally, we have ISE’s Managing Director himself, Mike Blackman. After all, our “Road To ISE 2023” started with an interview between him and Tim, and it’s only fair we close our coverage with him. We discuss the evolution between the last ISE in May and how the show has grown through its move to Barcelona.
