Actually Integrated
It may be Spring Break for some campuses (ignoring that it still feels like winter) but the news stops for nothing. That’s why we’ve got some experts in AV to discuss the latest stories for the higher education space. Joining us this month is Scott Tiner of Bates College, Rob Rasberry from Drexel University, Ernie Bailey of the University of Arkansas and Josh Kaufman.
ViewSonic and Crestron are combining forces to meet modern work needs with enhanced AV devices. Integration is part of the business, but it helps greatly when two companies actually work together to make their systems work with one another. We look at what this means for technology managers and what it means when solutions are made to work in harmony.
Shure is supporting the FCC’s order to expand opportunities for wireless microphone users. This support adds flexibility for users within audio channels within the standards of wireless multi-channel audio systems. Since there’s a bit of technical jargon to unpack, we discuss what it means in general and how it applies to campus spaces.
If you missed last episode (or most of February on AVNation) we were right in the middle of Barcelona at Integrated Systems Europe 2024. And while it’s one thing to be there in the trenches, we have the chance to step back and see how things have shaken out afterwards. Be that rAVe Pubs coverage or our very own AVNation interviews. What’s the best thing for technology managers that came from the show?
