Summertime is in full swing, and as the campuses are cleared out now is the time for some major updates and projects for tech managers in higher education. That said, most colleges have already been mostly empty due to the ongoing pandemic, taking classes online. Do we need to put considerations for online courses and equipment for these classrooms in fall? We hear what some campuses are doing to stay proactive instead of reactive.

Speaking of summer, this is usually the time for a whole host of trade shows and conferences. Except that with the aforementioned pandemic, those shows have moved virtually. So how do they stack up? We discuss the recent InfoComm Connected virtual show as well as HETMA’s Summer Virtual Conferences and the most interesting things to glean from these shows.
