All Of The Above
Sometimes, one has to worry about Matt. Not only despite his words is this the second show of 2021, this residential podcast seems to open with a brief interlude into sports. But despite our sadly addled host, we endeavor to bring you the latest news happening in the residential side of AV. Joining us in the madness is President of Southtown AV Heather Sidorowicz and Founder & President of ProAudio Georgia Steven Brawner.
The 2021 Consumer Electronics Show is here! At least, virtually. Like it was reported earlier in 2020, this year saw itself being entirely online. Aside from the obvious one, how much has changed with this different avenue? And while we’re on a CES kick, we look at the nature of the beast called vaporware and the differences in conceptual technology and snake oil.
Next, we look at the journey that Just Add Power and Audinate’s Dante are taking with their 4K video over IP transmitters. It’s a relationship now three years in the making, and considering how Dante is normally a commercial kind of product, speaks to how far they are willing to work with Just Add Power. What will this endeavor mean for both these companies and the video over IP space in general?
