US authorities have taken down a botnet that sought to disrupt hundreds of small offices and home offices. The Department of Justice says that these attacks came from end-of-life NETGEAR and Cisco routers that were no longer able to receive security updates. We want to keep our customers safe from attacks like this. But how can we point to something like this without it sounding like a sales pitch?
Access Networks is officially expanding into the commercial market. “But Editor!” you say, as if the podcast or page can hear you, “This is a residential show!” Which is exactly why a story like this is important. Access Networks has mostly operated in the custom high-end residential space, and now is looking to get into commercial-focused initiatives through Snap One.
