Back To The Conspiracy Board
We will get you the residential AV news you need to hear, even if all communications cease. We’ll just shout it into the void. But while we still have data we join Seth Johnson from BlackWire Design and Joe Whitaker of Origin Acoustics to discuss the latest stories for integrators.
There was a massive network outage for AT&T and other service providers last Thursday. It also affected some landline networks like Spectrum. While Matt would love to theorycraft this into a larger attack or conspiracy, there was some legitimate fear due to the lack of communication. But really, what can integrators do in a situation like this? We discuss where the responsibility lies when systems take a turn for the catastrophic.
BlackWire Design is hosting a Blacklight Design Tool Training at Lightapalooza 2024. If you’re reading this when the episode drops, Lightapalooza will already be in progress. But you’ll still have some time to catch one of these classes on the 28th. And since we have Seth on here, we talk to him about what this training means and the importance of lighting training for integrators.
Josh.ai made some huge announcements for their platform including a new app and third-part integration. During their Winer Launch Event, they announced the Josh Touchscreen, new software features, AI voices and much more. Could this propel Josh.ai ahead of the competition in the voice assistant space? We discuss what these changes mean and what integrators need to know.
