Do What You Can Do

It’s time to bring you the biggest news and stories for the residential side of the AV industry. And this week we quite the fresh take. Joining us to discuss just that is Jason Knott of D-Tools and Bryan Koutsky from OliverIQ.

Nothing like starting off the show with breaking news! Resideo has agreed to acquire Snap One. At about $10 per share, this deal totals to $1.4 billion. Snap One will integrate into the larger ADI Global Distribution business. Snap One was already a powerhouse, acquiring copmanies like Parasol, Access Networks and Control 4. What does it mean for the industry for them to get picked up like this? Looking at the effects on the residential space moving forward.

While a large acquisition like this is something out of our control for most of us, Henry Clifford wants us to focus on the things we can control. When running a business, what’s the most important things to focus on to make sure you’re running smoothly? We look at what an integrator can control in their field.
