Stocks come tumbling down

Tech stocks fall and that impacts the spending of some homeowners. Logitech CEO says the Circle doorbell is on its way out. The security market looks like a key entry point for whole home AV.

This week’s ResiWeek was recorded while both the NASDAQ and Dow Jones were in free fall. That current news added to the discussion about a recent report from CIRCANA on consumer technology spending dipping by 2%. Logitech’s new CEO hinted that the Circle View Doorbell and camera might be discontinued. You know, like the Harmony Remote. Then walked back those comments a bit. And Resideo talks about home security hitting $30 billion by 2030. Making people feel safer could be a great way to bring the AV experience home.
